At the top of their list of suspects is Jessie Stevens (Jessie Royce Landis) who is in France looking to find a suitable husband for her daughter Frances (Kelly). However, just as he is getting close to uncovering the crook’s identity, Robie’s burgeoning relationship with Frances threatens to get in the way and derail his investigation.
