Award-winning documentary from renowned Italian filmmakers the Taviani brothers following a production of Shakespeare’s ’Julius Caesar’ by a group of incarcerated criminals. Filming the rehearsals and performance of the play by the inmates of the Rebibbia prison near Rome, the Taviani brothers allow for a candid look within the prison’s walls and by using a blend of narrative and documentary show how the events of the play begin to mirror the past lives of those involved.
