Australian drama in which the arrival of a beautiful burlesque performer causes a rift between an already struggling father and son relationship. Following the death of his mother, Fin (Ed Oxenbould) retreats into his own world and takes solace in his own company, while his father Al (Ewen Leslie) revels in the sordidness of an affair with a student. When Evelyn (Melissa George) arrives in town, Fin becomes enamoured with her colourful and alluring presence and is ecstatic when he is invited to take on a job helping her.

Meanwhile, Al has also discovered the enchanting Evelyn and the two soon begin a romantic relationship, much to the dismay of Fin. With grief already having taken its toll on the father and son, the new woman in their lives can only make things more complicated.
