Second series of the documentary presented by crime author Bernard O’Mahoney seeking to provide an insight into some of the most feared criminals in the UK.

Men such as the Kray brothers, Eddie and Billy Blundell and the gang known as the Peaky Blinders have gained a level of notoriety that sets them apart from their criminal contemporaries.

However, to what extent do such men - at times referred to as ’faces’ - develop a mythical persona that differs from their true character?

With the aid of interviews with criminals, many of whom have never before spoken on camera, the documentary aims to provide a more accurate picture of some of the UK’s most infamous underground figures.
